Anklets are where plated brass fails fastest: salt water and chlorine strip a dipped finish in a single holiday. Ours are 18K gold or rhodium PVD-plated over 316L stainless steel, the same construction used in marine hardware, so they can be worn in the sea and the shower without going dull.

Fit and comfort

Frequently asked questions

Can I swim in a Flaire anklet?

Yes. The 18K PVD plating over 316L steel is waterproof and survives salt water and chlorine, unlike dipped brass.

Will an anklet tarnish over summer?

No. 316L stainless steel does not corrode, and PVD plating does not strip the way flash plating does.

What if the size is wrong?
